  • Day 1

    ARRIVE CALICUT

    Upon arrival at Cochin airport, meet and greet upon arrival. Later transfer to hotel by AC transport. Calicut - is known as one of the historically significant places in Kerala as the Portuguese explorer Vasco De Gama had arrived on its shores at Kappad beach. It was considered a busy port and a trading hub and was of great strategic importance. Later visit Beypore, where Uru (sailing wooden vessel) is made (subject to availability of work orders from Gulf). The pristine and extraordinarily uncrowded Kappad beach offers a memorable experience. Enjoy one of the best sunsets that you have ever seen or soak up the enviably slow pace of life here. Also visit Kadalundi Bird Sanctuary, which is home to over hundred bird species. Thusharagiri waterfall beats down from an impressive height is a popular trekking and rock-climbing spot as well, which makes it popular among adventure tourists. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 2

    : CALICUT – WAYANAD

    Morning after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Wayanad. Tucked away in the mountains of the Western Ghats, Wayanad is fondly called as the “green paradise.” Enroute visit Pookode Lake - a scenic fresh water lake surrounded by forests. Arrive at Wayanad and check-in at the hotel. Rest day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 3

    WAYANAD

    Morning after breakfast, visit Meenmutty waterfalls the second largest and most spectacular waterfall in Kerala. A small trek through a moist and deciduous forest required to enjoy the three-tiered waterfall pouring at a height of 300 metres. Also, visit Edakkal caves - a rich treasure trove of some of the relics of the new stone age civilizations in the forms of engravings and pictures in the caves of Edakkal and Ampukuthimala, which offer clues about the past civilizations. Later, visit Kuruva - a lovely island on the Kabini River spread over 900 acres is a haven for many rare birds, animals and plant life. You can witness tribal people in small country boats, fishing in the island - a pleasant holiday destination in the lap of nature. Overnight stay at the hotel.

    WAYANAD – KABINI

    Morning after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive towards Kabini (90 Kms/2.5 hrs). Kabini is one of the most popular wildlife destinations in India situated on the banks of the river Kabini comprises the south eastern part of Nagarhole National Park (Rajiv Gandhi National Park). It was hunting jungle of Mysuru Kings. Kabini has lush greenery, attractive streams, valleys and waterfalls is an abode for many rare species of animals including tiger, Nilgiri Thar, Nilgiri languor, bison, leopard, wild boar, deer, dhole (wild dog), sloth bear, jungle cat, civet, bonnet macaque, and pangolin and one among the few natural habitats of Asian elephants. The bird species include Malabar pied hornbill, crested hawk eagle, golden- back woodpecker, and southern tree pie. Reptiles like crocodiles, pythons, and several species of snakes and lizards are also found here. Upon arrival check-in at hotel/resort. Rest day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel/resort.

  • Day 5

    KABINI

    Morning after breakfast, start your day with a guided tour of Kabini. Enjoy a cycling tour and a coracle ride. Later go for bird watching. Also enjoy jeep safari in to the Nagarhole National Park. Overnight stay at the hotel/resort.

  • Day 6

    KABINI – COORG

    Morning after breakfast, drive to Madikeri, the major town in Coorg district (also known as Kodagu), famous for green fields, coffee plantations, Orange orchards and couple of waterfalls. It is located in the eastern slopes of Western Ghats Kodagu. En-route visit Kushalnagar Golden Temple, Tibetan Colony and Nisargadhama. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Rest day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 7

    COORG

    Morning after breakfast, start your tour visiting Madikeri Fort built of mud and later on Tipu Sultan swapped it concrete stone. It is an impressive fort and hardly there is any other fort that matches its grandeur. Raja's seat, an ideal place to explore the exquisiteness and enjoy the panoramic beauty of the mist covered blue hills and valleys and to relish the sunset. It has been developed into a public garden which attracts huge number of tourists. Also visit Omkareshwara temple, dedicated to Shiva, was built in the 19 th century in a mix of Gothic and Islamic styles. It was built by Lingarajendra in 1820. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 8

    COORG – MANGALORE – DEPART

    Morning after breakfast, check-out from the hotel. Later, depart for Mangalore airport to board flight for onward destination.
