Morning after breakfast, you will have full day city tour visiting Madikeri is a hill town in southern India. Framed by the Western Ghats mountain range, it’s known for the Raja’s Seat, a simple monument overlooking forests and rice paddies. In the center, the 17th-century Madikeri Fort features 2 stone elephants at the entrance. You can visit sightseeing places such as, Elephant Dubara Camp: The Dubare Elephant Camp is a chance to get to know these giant, enchanting creatures better. With a host of activities built around this, many a guest has left the camp with a sense of responsibility to do their bit towards protecting elephants. A trained naturalist takes our guests through the complexities of elephant history, ecology and biology. Bylakuppe Buddhist Golden Temple: Located at a distance of 90 km from Mysore towards it west, the Buddhist Golden temple at Bylakuppe is a place worth visiting. Bylakuppe, along with Dharamsala, is the residing place for thousands of Tibetans, who have been living in exile since many decades. This is the centre of Tibetan Buddhism in South India. The Golden Temple also called Namdroling Monastery stands beautifully amidst the scenic landscapes, emanating peacefulness and calmness. The monastery is popularly known as Golden temple owing to the golden paintings crafted on the monastery. Abbey Falls: Abbey Falls is a waterfall in Kodagu, in the Western Ghats of Karnataka, India. It is located 8 km from the Madikeri, 122 km from Mysore. Raja’s Seat: Raja's Seat is a culturally significant site and tourist attraction in Madikeri of Coorg District. It is 270km away from Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka. Raja's Seat is located in the middle of a garden called as Gandhi Mantap. Coffee plantations: With a tour to the lush green trails of coffee plantations of Coorg, you can learn about the robusta & arabica beans that are grown in the region. Right from the process of selecting the riped coffee beans to the process of harvesting them, here, you can know about everything at once. After visiting these places return back to the hotel. Morning after breakfast, drive to Mysuru (120 Kms/2.5 Hrs drive). Upon arrival check-in at hotel. Afternoon visit Mysuru Palace. In the centre of opulent Mysore Palace, there is seat of the former ruling Wodeyar dynasty. Mysore is also home to the centuries-old Devaraja Market, filled with spices, silk and sandalwood. Other attractions of Mysore include: • Sri Chamundeshwari Temple • Srirangapatnam • Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens. Etc. Overnight stay at hotel.
Morning after breakfast, drive to Ooty (125 Kms/04 Hrs drive). Upon arrival, check-in at hotel. Afternoon visit Botanical garden, Rose Garden, Lake (Boathouse), Thread Garden, Children Park, Government Museum, Doddabetta Peak, Tea Factory, Wax Museum. Overnight stay at hotel.
Morning after breakfast, transfer to Udaga-mandalam railway station to board train for Coonoor (Nilgiri railways). Visit Sim’s Park, Droog Fort, St. George’s Church, Law’s Falls, Rallia Dam, Dolphin’s Nose, Lady Canning’s Seat, Highfield Tea Factory, Ketti Valley. Evening return back to Ooty. Overnight stay at hotel.
Morning after breakfast, depart to Coimbatore. visit Adiyogi Sculpture (Subject to time availability). Drop at airport/railway station.
