  • Day 1

    ARRIVE COCHIN – GURUVAYOOR

    Upon arrival at Cochin airport, after clearance of immigration and customs, meet and greet by our company representative. Drive to Guruvayoor by AC transport. Guruvayoor is one of the famous temple towns in India. Upon arrival check-in at hotel. Guruvayoor is famous for the Srikrishna Temple where thousands of devotees’ worship Lord Guruvayoorappan every day. Also visit Punnathur Kotta - the Elephant sanctuary crowded with more than 60 elephants of different ages offered by the devout devotees of Lord Guruvayoorappan. Overnight stay at the hotel.

    GURUVAYOOR – MUNNAR (175 KMS/05 HRS)

    Morning drive toward Munnar. Upon arrival at Munnar, check-in at hotel. Munnar – Situated at 1600 Mtr above sea level is the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale. Munnar was the summer station for British Government in South India and the best hill station with sprawling tea plantations in the state. Blessed with a rich variety of flora and fauna with the most well-known Neelakurinji flowering once in 12 years. Rest day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

    MUNNAR

    Morning after breakfast, visit the Eravikulam National Park, the 97 sq km park with its alluring beauty and it is home to the endangered Mountain goats. Enjoy a guided short trek in the beautiful hill station. Afternoon - Visit the Mattupetty Dam built in the mountains. Later visit Echo point, a very popular place for the natural marvel. The echo that reverberates after hitting the distant hills is mesmerizing. Overnight stay at the hotel.

    MUNNAR – THEKKADY (110 KMS/03 HRS)

    Morning after breakfast, continue your journey to Thekkady (110 k.m.) Reaching there in few hours, check into the resort and relax. Later-on proceed for a spice plantation tour. Situated within the confines of the Western Ghats in the southern Indian state of Kerala, Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve is one of the most captivating wildlife parks in the world. The gorgeous lake in the heart of the sanctuary was originally 26 sq km but now spans an area of 55 sq km. This perennial source of water, which initially led to the submersion of large tracts of forestland, slowly attracted wild animals. It eventually resulted in the adjoining forests being granted protection. Post-1975 Periyar finds itself in the enviable position of being a protected tiger reserve. The terrain ranges from hilly to flat grassland areas at the edges of the lakes. The flora is of moist deciduous type. Overnight stay at the hotel.

    THEKKADY

    Morning after breakfast, start your day with boating on Periyar lake, spice plantation visit, Elephant safari, agricultural farm tour & sightseeing, nature walk, adventure trekking & camping, border hiking, bamboo rafting, jungle jeep safari, Kalaripayattu – the traditional martial art performance & Tribal art performance. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 6

    THEKKADY – KUMARAKOM (125 KMS/3.5 HRS)

    Morning after breakfast, drive to Kumarakom (125 Kms/3.5 hrs drive). Kumarakom is backwater hamlet perched on the western banks of the Vembanadu Lake. Enjoy a visit to the nearby bird sanctuary; an ornithologist's paradise is a favourite haunt of migratory birds like the Siberian stork, egret, darter, heron and teal. Rest day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 7

    KUMARAKOM – BACKWATERS CRUISE (Alleppey)

    After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey (35 Kms/01 hr drive). Upon arrival, board houseboat for charming backwater cruise. Freshly cooked food will be served on houseboat. Alleppey - This is a quaint town flanked by the Arabian Sea in the west and has a vast network of lakes, lagoons and freshwater rivers criss-crossing it. It is an important backwater destination attracting several thousand foreign / domestic tourists every year and is also famous for its boat races, beaches, marine products and coir industry. Dinner and overnight stay onboard houseboat.

  • Day 8

    ALLEPPEY – COCHIN – DEPART

    Morning after breakfast, disembark from the houseboat at 0900 hrs and drive to Cochin. . Upon arrival visit Fort Kochi, Santa Cruz Basilica, Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagauge. Later drop at airport to board flight for onward destination.
