  • Day 1

    ARRIVE CALICUT

    Upon arrival at Cochin airport, meet and greet upon arrival. Later transfer to hotel by AC transport. Calicut - is known as one of the historically significant places in Kerala as the Portuguese explorer Vasco De Gama had arrived on its shores at Kappad beach. It was considered a busy port and a trading hub and was of great strategic importance. Later visit Beypore, where Uru (sailing wooden vessel) is made (subject to availability of work orders from Gulf). The pristine and extraordinarily uncrowded Kappad beach offers a memorable experience. Enjoy one of the best sunsets that you have ever seen or soak up the enviably slow pace of life here. Also visit Kadalundi Bird Sanctuary, which is home to over hundred bird species. Thusharagiri waterfall beats down from an impressive height is a popular trekking and rock-climbing spot as well, which makes it popular among adventure tourists. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 2

    CALICUT – WAYANAD

    Morning after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Wayanad. Tucked away in the mountains of the Western Ghats, Wayanad is fondly called as the “green paradise.” Enroute visit Pookode Lake - a scenic fresh water lake surrounded by forests. Arrive at Wayanad and check-in at the hotel. Rest day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 3

    WAYANAD

    Morning after breakfast, visit Meenmutty waterfalls the second largest and most spectacular waterfall in Kerala. A small trek through a moist and deciduous forest required to enjoy the three-tiered waterfall pouring at a height of 300 metres. Also, visit Edakkal caves - a rich treasure trove of some of the relics of the new stone age civilizations in the forms of engravings and pictures in the caves of Edakkal and Ampukuthimala, which offer clues about the past civilizations. Later, visit Kuruva - a lovely island on the Kabini River spread over 900 acres is a haven for many rare birds, animals and plant life. You can witness tribal people in small country boats, fishing in the island - a pleasant holiday destination in the lap of nature. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 4

    WAYANAD – COCHIN

    Morning after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive towards Cochin (270 Kms/06 hrs drive). Cochin – “Queen of the Arabian Sea” has one of the finest natural harbours in the world. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 5

    COCHIN – KUMARAKOM

    Morning after breakfast, go for a sightseeing tour of Cochin city visiting to Jew Street which is famous for the Jewish Synagogue and Jew Town. Visit St.Francis Church - first European church built in India in the early 16th century and the famed Vasco Da Gama was buried in its courtyard. Thereafter visit the Dutch Palace in Mattanchery. (Jewish Synagogue - Open: 10.00 am –12.00pm, 3.00pm –5.00pm. Closed on Friday /Saturday & Jewish holidays) (Dutch Palace - Open: 10.00am – 5.00pm. Closed on Fridays). Later spend some free time in the Jew Street. It is fascinating & vibrant Narrow Street with many shops selling handicrafts, souvenirs, Antiques & Ethnic Garments. Later proceed to Fort Kochi and visit Famous Chinese fishing nets. Afternoon drive to Kumarakom (50 Kms/01 hr drive). Kumarakom is a small backwater homestead floating on the western banks of the Vembanadu Lake. Rest day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 6

    KUMARAKOM

    Morning after breakfast, visit nearby bird sanctuary; an ornithologist's paradise is a favourite haunt of migratory birds like the Siberian stork, egret, darter, heron and teal. You can enjoy day boat cruise. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 7

    KUMARAKOM – COCHIN – DEPART

    Morning after breakfast, day at leisure. In-time transfer to Cochin airport to board flight for onward destination.
