• Day 1

  ARRIVE COCHIN - MUNNAR (130 KMS/04 HRS)

  Upon arrival at Cochin airport, our representative will receive you. Upon arrival visit Fort Kochi, Santa Cruz Basilica, Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagauge. After lunch drive to Munnar. Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. 1600 Meter above sea level. This hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British government in South India. Sprawling Tea Plantation picture-book towns, winding lanes and holiday facility makes this a popular town. En-route visit Cheeyappara waterfall and Valara water falls. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel. Evening enjoy at picturesque hills. Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 2

  MUNNAR

  After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing of Munnar where you can visit Mattupatty Dam, Echo Point, Tea Plantation, (closed on Monday), Eravikulam National Park (Closed during breeding season). Evening back to hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 3

  MUNNAR – THEKKADY (110 KMS/03 HRS)

  Morning after breakfast, continue your journey to Thekkady (110 k.m.) Reaching there in few hours, check into the resort and relax. Later-on proceed for a spice plantation tour. Explore wide variety of spices in Kerala. You may also shop few varieties. Travel by boat on the Periyar Lake to spot the elephants and avifauna for which this reserve is well known. Boat cruises and sunrise and sunset are particularly recommended. Back to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 4

  THEKKADY – ALLEPPEY (BACKWATER)

  After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey (100 Km.). Upon arrival, board houseboat for charming backwater cruise. Freshly cooked food will be served on houseboat. Alleppey - This is a quaint town flanked by the Arabian Sea in the west and has a vast network of lakes, lagoons and freshwater rivers criss-crossing it. It is an important backwater destination attracting several thousand foreign / domestic tourists every year and is also famous for its boat races, beaches, marine products and coir industry. Dinner and overnight stay onboard houseboat.

• Day 5

  ALLEPPEY – KOVALAM (180 KMS/04 HRS)

  Morning after breakfast, de-board houseboat and continue your journey to Kovalam (180 Kms/04 hrs drive). Upon arrival check-in at hotel/resort. Later visit Padmanabhaswami Temple, Srichitra Art Gallery, and Napier Museum Evening enjoy at Kovalam Beach. Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 6

  KOVALAM

  Morning after breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour of Thiruvananthapuram, visiting places of interests like Padmanabhaswami temple - renowned for its towering gopuras and temples arts and paintings. The main pavilion of the temple stands impressive with 400 marvellously granite carved pillars. Your guided sightseeing tour will cover the rest of the attractions too. Later drive back to Kovalam. Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 7

  KOVALAM - KANYAKUMARI EXCURSION

  Morning after breakfast, proceed for day excursion to Kanyakumari, literally means the virgin, the cape owes its Indian name to Hindu mythology. Upon reaching at Kanyakumari, start your city tour visiting The Cape Comorin - the southernmost tip in the sub-continent, the three mighty oceans viz. the Bay of Bengal, the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea meet. Also visit the Kumari Amman Temple - dedicated to the Goddess Parvati, the Gandhi Memorial, the Vivekananda Memorial - built in memory of Swami Vivekananda exuding a calm and peace rarely found elsewhere and the Church of our Lady Ransom starkly etched against the beautiful shoreline. Late afternoon, drive back to Kovalam. Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 8

  KOVALAM - THIRUVANANTHAPURAM (15 KMS)

  Morning enjoy at beach. After late breakfast, drive to Thiruvananthapuram airport (15 Kms).
