Morning after breakfast, drive to Munnar. Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. 1600 Meter above sea level. This hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British government in South India. Sprawling Tea Plantation picture-book towns, winding lanes and holiday facility makes this a popular town. En-route visit Cheeyappara waterfall. Later check-in to the hotel. After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing of Munnar where you can visit Mattupatty Dam, Echo Point, Tea Plantation, (closed on Monday), Eravikulam National Park (Closed during breeding season). Evening back to hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Morning after breakfast, continue your journey to Thekkady (110 k.m.) Reaching there in few hours, check into the resort and relax. Later-on proceed for a spice plantation tour. Explore wide variety of spices in Kerala. You may also shop few varieties. Travel by boat on the Periyar Lake to spot the elephants and avifauna for which this reserve is well known. After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey (100 Km.). Upon arrival, board houseboat for charming backwater cruise. Freshly cooked food will be served on houseboat.
